New York Knicks fans here in Hackettstown, NJ may be hurting a little bit as league veteran Rasheed Wallace is out for the regular season with a broken foot. Wallace had been out since December 13th because of a stress reaction in his left foot. It appears that Wallace has broken his fifth metatarsal in his foot—the bone that runs back from the pinkie toe toward the heel, also called a "Jones fracture" — and the fracture will require surgical repair. While he is expected to make a full recovery this injury in only a predicted 8 weeks, sources are unsure of whether Rasheed, 38, will ever play in the league again. After leaving the Celtics in 2010, Wallace was retired for two years before signed with the Knicks in 2012.
